Accelerator Pedal  

Accelerator Pedal, Remove and Install  

  Remove, Disconnect   

Remove driver's side footwell panelling (3 clips).   Disconnect wiring harness plug for accelerator position sensor.   Remove retaining clip (1) and detach actuating linkage (2) from accelerator position sensor (3). Remove accelerator position sensor from bracket.   Remove fastening nuts (4) and remove accelerator with accelerator pedal support.     Install, Connect    Insert accelerator with accelerator pedal support and attach to bulkhead with new fastening nuts - tightening torque 20 Nm / 15 lbf. ft.   Attach accelerator position sensor to bracket and attach actuation linkage. Secure actuation linkage using retaining clips.   Connect wiring harness plug. Install driver's side footwell panelling (3 clips).
