Transmission Fluid  

The AF 13-II and AF 17 automatic transmissions use a new automatic transmission fluid.  

The following table contains filling information for the automatic transmission:

Caution: 

The AF 13-II, AF 17 and AF 20 automatic transmissions must not be filled with the  
"DEXRON ^® II..." automatic transmission fluid, as this would negatively affect the characteristics and function of the automatic transmission.  

• Service  

The automatic transmission fluid does not require changing for the entire lifespan of the vehicle.  

For vehicles that, for example, are subject to extreme conditions, consult the information on additional service operations in the "Inspection System, Service Plan" brochure.
