Instructions for Adjusting Tapered Roller Bearings, Differential Gear (F13/F13+/F17/F17+/F18)

Adjust bearing pre-tension by screwing in bearing ring.

Maintain specified breakaway torque at test speed of 1 revolution per second.

Repair case

Transmission installed 1) breakaway torque (Ncm)

Adjustment according to mark. Re-use all removed parts.

(set bearing ring to mark)

2)

Reusing bearing, replacement of bearing ring, bearing flange, differential or transmission housing.

60 to 100

3)

Bearing as new part

150 to 210

MKM-536-A (1) with KM-6037 (2).

 Object Number: 2414210 Size: DEFAULT

  Install

Cut thread Insert fastening bolt with locking compound. Attach locking plate of bearing ring to transmission housing (1 fastening bolt) – tightening torque 9 Nm / 7 lbf. ft.
